SafeHouse Denver Men's Initiative

Welcome to the SafeHouse Denver Men's Initiative. Our purpose is to include and celebrate men who stand up against domestic violence and work toward the vision of making every house a safe house.

Over the course of the next months, the Men's Initiative Steering Committee, with the input of other men in our community, will be rolling out a variety of options for men who would like to actively help in creating a community that no longer tolerates domestic violence.

Men's Declaration

Our first goal is to widely disseminate the Men's Declaration, found on this website, as a means of increasing awareness and inviting men to take a public stand against domestic violence. As fathers of daughters, sons of mothers, brothers of sisters, and husbands of wives, our community needs the voices of men to speak out against violence against women.

We hope to publish this declaration, with the list of men who have signed it, in local print media. Please take a moment to read the Declaration and sign on to become a part of the growing number of men who are committed to ending domestic violence.
