The success of SafeHouse programs and services is greatly dependent on the support provided by the volunteers. SafeHouse Denver offers a wide variety of both long-term and short-term volunteer opportunities.

Opportunities

• Long-term Volunteer
  A variety of long-term volunteer positions are available. These include positions for our crisis line, children's program, bi-lingual program, and shelter programs.
• Special Event Volunteers
  Volunteering at a SafeHouse special event is a great way for individuals to get involved without making a long-term commitment. For information on upcoming special events, please check the Upcoming Events page.
• Fulfill school community services hours by collecting used cell phones for SafeHouse.  Contact Ashley at 303-302-6112 for more information.

SafeHouse Denver is committed to providing strong orientation, training and supervision to prepare individuals for our Children's Program and Crisis Line volunteer positions.  Volunteer applications are now being reviewed for the first quarter volunteer training, scheduled for March 6 and 13, 2010.  Please submit a volunteer application, available under our Long-term Volunteer opportunities, and you will be contacted within two weeks.
