Every donation -- great and small -- helps us create communities free of domestic violence and provide women and children who have experienced abuse hope for the future. Here are just a few ways that your donation can support our mission.

$10,000
An investment of $10,000 can support our Entrepreneurial Training Program for survivors of domestic violence. Begun in 2000 in collaboration with CU-Denver, 58 women have graduated in the last five years. This program provides the skills necessary for entrepreneurial ventures and gives survivors an additional option for self-sufficiency.

$5,000
An investment of $5,000 can support the women’s program at the Counseling and Advocacy Center for 1 week, enabling 45 women to develop personalized safety plans and to receive emotional support, education on the dynamics of abusive relationships, information on restraining orders and other necessary community resources.

$2,500
Investing $2,500 can support the community education efforts of SafeHouse Denver, allowing us to provide 20 presentations for schools, businesses, religious and service organizations, reaching an estimated 533 people in efforts to create communities that no longer tolerate domestic violence and know what to do when they see it.

$1,000
A donation of $1,000 can sponsor a child at shelter, enabling them to access individual counseling and support groups for the full average length of stay of 26 days.

$500
A contribution of $500 can cover the full cost of providing shelter and supportive services for a woman and child for six days, including food, personal care items, individual counseling and support groups.

$250
An investment of $250 can support our 24-hour crisis line for one week, enabling us to respond to 231 callers in need.

$100
A donation of $100 provides enough money to feed all of the children living at our shelter for one week.

$25
Your donation of $25 can support a woman receiving services at our Counseling Center for six weeks.
